You do realize those are the sedan 18's, not the coupe Rays right?

Yea these are 18", not the forged 19"..

if I'm not mistaken, the 19s are staggered whereas the 18s are squared...
I myself was contemplating staggered v square, and opted to stay squared up not to trip up the traction control

Yeah I could tell. I didn't say they were coupe wheels that I just want a set. I think 19s are perfect fitment on these cars though but my opinion.

We're your fans not working or was it just time to replace them. Wondering if you can tell a difference between the new fans and old electric fans with alot of miles?

A bit late but I painted me grill and wheels. I like it more than I thought I would.

While doing so I found a ripped inner CV boot that I took care of.

I bought her maybe a week ago and I inspected that area so it must have ripped recently.

You might be the first person in 8 years on the forum that said they liked the sedan 18's but I'm glad you dig them.

The fans started to die with the AC fan going out first then the other fan crapped out. As stated before, super easy replacement and $89 shipped to my door for a new shroud which included both fans and motors. 137K miles on my car so it was time, it's hard to tell when they start to have issues as most of us don't know until they fail. It's a very common high mileage issue with the G's as is the radiator.

Lowered on G35 coupe unrevised springs all the way around. So got I had an alignment performed:

Also in the middle of doing a paint correction to remove swirl marks:

Before (bumper)

After (Quarter Panel Rear)

Also hardwired my Escort Passport Radar Detector with the mirror mount:

Looks great. Did you get power from the mirror or run power all the way to the front end?

Hey,

How did you do the headlight restoration?

Also I have burn marks on the side door pillar trim pieces. Anyone know here I can get aftermarket ones or what I can do with the burn marks on the roof?

And today I finished my second last wheel restoration and paint. They are a set of 18's staggered off the coupe, soon to be going on my sedan. They had a case of severe curb rash, so many hours of bondo, and sanding, the final product wasn't half bad given what I had to start with.

Next up is some fender rolling, and 350Z suspension swap!

i would just get black vinyl to wrap the pillars with, i'll post a link of a good vinyl i've used, you need to get black and 6" wide

might as well go to a shop where they do vinyl wraps and wrap your roof black also to cover the bad paint while refreshing the look of the car
