I just spoke to DaveO - he's going to try to bring a portable jack... he's says it doesn't work to well, but better than nothing. He's coming in Dee Dee's coupe (not his sedan) so hopefully it will fit with whatever else they bring.

I don't intend to use the DR's - but big thanks to Derek and DaveO for the effort of bringing the tires and jack for those that do intend to use them!

Damn. I did a couple of launches today just messing around and my G launches like a beast. I had practically no traction in first but when it hooked . . . . DAYUM! I am really bummed that I won't be able to make it.

If you can get a jack or don't mind using your jack to change your wheels let me know. I'll bring my big lug nut wrench.

I think you are the only one left wanting to use the DRs.

If anyone else from the list wants to use them I don't mind.

I wish I could race this time to try out this brake torque/brake boost mod, oh well I guess next time for sure.

 

Doesn't hurt to try once like on your 3rd run just to see.

But using DR's for one run in Cal Speedway would probably go horribly wrong since it would be my first time using DR's.

If someone brings a jack for quick removal & installation, I will definately consider it.

No. You can go in at 9:30 and just watch and hang out. But you will not be able to race. Even by 6:30, I think the 400 car cut-off is almost met.
