So what kind of times did you guys run. It must have been hot as hell out there.

You're right. It was freakin' hot man! I think I got a tan over my current tan. My temp displayed 102 at one point. So, all in all, I really wasnt expecting anything flattering...

Wally did run a 14.1 @ 98.5 which is really good for that temperature & elevation. Terry (Redondo G) ran 13.8 @ 104 with 100 shot.

I'm definately going to Cal Speedway as many times as possibly during winter; it will definately be worth it.

I just got home damn traffic!! The next one is Aug 11th!!! I will have my car this time.

Well at least someone used my DRs with a good result.

Wow! It must have been miserable out there. Next one is in August?? Damn, it will probably be even hotter then. :/

This was a great time, and I gotta tell you, a great group of people. We absolutely have to do this again (when it's a little cooler).

So how many runs did you guys get in? I've been on Ca speedway before, and it's just too hot in the summer. Did they reach the 400 car limit early?

EK everyone got in 3 runs and the limit was reached early I think before 7.

I think it would of been better today if we had a working ez up for shade.

We needed your EZ up bro it was hot. I think racing in the fall would be better since it will be cooler.

I had to leave to go to work. Randy took care of my FX, and one of the guys drove it to Randy's.

Show is ok. A lot less show cars than you'd expect for Nopi. Lot of drift cars out there. Tomorrow should be cool, you going to drop by?

thanks to everyone who came out. Hotter than a ****!! I got burnt, even the top of my head got burnt and I have hair! lol

My first try, I got a 14.777 with my so-called slicks (bald tires) lol
2nd try netted a 14.2 with DRs.
3rd try I ended up getting a 14.1.

I learned never to go to Cal Speedway when it's hot and ALSO I need to get me some DRs lol
