Good practice on shifting.

Driving back to the starting line is not considered a "run".

Heh, im telling you Wally, Wednesdays are drive-thru's

I still didnt get the time I wanted . But I'll see about that in Cal Speedway. I got one 14.9 and the rest were 15.0,15.1, etc.

I couldn't get my tires to hook up right; but it was the same for everyone at the track. Best 60ft was a uhhhh... 2.4

I was running against a Cadilac CTS 3.6l & 06 350Z; the Z guy was pretty cool. He told me he had an exhaust, test pipes, spacer, intake, and if i recall, crawford headers. He did a best of 14.5. Pretty good for LACR.

The Z always edged me on all 3 runs... but they were pretty good runs

I don't think the guy in the CTS liked me because I took him all 12 times

I'm pretty sure Ill be going to LACR next Wednesday again. Let's see if I can reach the 30+ run mark

If anyone wants to go, then just go! It's good practice...

And for all you sub 14 second cars: I hope you all have helmets! Cal Speedway is very strict unlike LACR & Irwindale.

See if you can borrow one. Just make sure that the dot rating on it is current. Last time I brought out my Motorcycle helmet and they wouldn't let me use it cause the helmet was 3 years old. What a bunch of CRAP!

I'll let you use mine. I don't think I will have my car back by next weekend so my quest for 12's will have to wait. My best time there is 13.03@107.

I'm coming in a friend's car I'll bring my drags if anyone wants to use them for a couple of runs. The DRs are mounted on my stock 18's.

I'll have my video camera.

If Derek doesnt mind, I call dibs in his DR's for atleast just one run!

I'm really curious to see how I would do with DR's.

Derek, Im running on the stock 19's. I'm assuming I won't run into any issues with your DR's?

Hmmmm . . . I wouldn't mind a run on some DR's. It's up to you though Derek. I haven't been to the drags since I had my Civic so I will need to take a couple of runs on my street tires before I try DR's anyways.

Damn maybe I should charge to use my wheels!! LOL

Hex save the run on the DRs for the last run I know you want to see how fast you are on street tires. My 13.03 was on street tires.

Everybody else that wants to use them I don't mind and I used to run them with my 19s when I had them so no problem there.

Well at least you guys should be able to heat them up better being 6mts.

So lets make a list since you may get 3-4 runs tops. I have my stock lug nuts the only thing needed is if someone has a floor jack to make it easier and quicker to change tires.

The tires are BFG DRs 265/40/18. I'll probably get there around 8 since racing starts around 9.

run1

run2

run3

run4 (maybe)
