818/323/213 Bi-Monthly Meet -->Downtown Los Angeles<-- **10/07/10**
Sup guys new g35 owner here and im down to go to this meet for sure. Anyone in Orange County/LA County I could roll with? Don't wanna roll to this meet with me being the only car lol.
You must HATE me then hahahahaha, Dumpt ftw!!!
there are so many different styles and so many people have a different perception on what they think is the perfect look.
IMO all these HIN/Show cars are ugly, ricey, and too over the top, If it were up to me the cleanest cars would take home all the awards at those car shows(Clean kit, sick non pvssy drop, and sick wheels with AMAZING fitment, wheels are the most important think on a car, it makes or breaks it), i don't give a **** if you spent $20k on a sound system, or put TV's in your headlights, etc....

If you were dumped and think u were better than others because your dumped then I hate you, but you're not ignorant and a d!ck like that. I see your point and thats foshizzle chills, just not like that other guys comment sayings ITS MORE IMPORTANT than speed and handling
But unfortunlately, at hin this is not what they look for, which is reality so fact over opinion. And i do agree with you Shane, alota cars at hin...wtf?!?! LOL Clean kit, sick drop and badasss wheels, anyone can do that, thus the reason why HIN etc is picky on giving away the awards, svcks. That's why i just included all that in the list as apart of something mandatory to do. Have it clean, get nice wheels than dump it, than move on to the crazy stuff. I'm just too picky on my coil-overs, tooooooooooooooooooo picky LOL.EDIT: I take that back, I mean car-shows in general, HIN knows the winners before it even starts...oops i said too much
sorry but dumping tens of thousands of dollars on your ride is fackin retarded. I also agree that a majority of the cars at awards shows, like HIN, are dirtier than Kurt's bunghole. Just keep it clean and simple - that'll pull the bishes

(car was not equiped with 60k, it was 60-80k because I kept dumping money into it and swithcing shiet in and out, example, 4 sets of rims in 2 years, 2 10k stereo systems LOL, 2 different superchargers within 6 months)
I should show you what I call " The Invoices from Hell ", it will have you drop your jaws and want 2 smack me across the head HAHAHA man i feel so dumb

You're insane man. Personally I just find that a complete waste of money. The main thing that bugs me about it is that you're investing in a depreciating asset ... but as long as it makes you happy, what do I care, right?
Man I aint happy, ask the homies what happened to my car LOLOL. I'll bring my invoices of hell to the next 818 meet if i remember, everytime i look at it i wanna cry.
Ok let me rephrase my comment slightly. What I mean by more important was that I would spend more money on good fitment and wheels than having my car fast and to handle well. If I wanted a car that was fast and handled well I would've chosen a different platform. And was "newbie" really necessary? Pretty childish...
If you can accept Shane's opinion why can't u accept mine? LOL. Makes no sense. Like he said people have different styles and appreciate different things, there is no need to hate on a certain style because you don't like it. That's the vibe I'm getting from you.

I can put 5k into it and it would sound amazing, whether I go for something that sounds good or gets loud. When I see some systems, i'm like psshhhh.....like some people think more speakers are better, i'm not talking subs, just speakers.
I ran a pair of tweeters and a pair of mids in my previous car and it was all I needed to keep up with a setup that was doing 145 dB on music constantly. Obtaining 140 dB itself is VERY difficult for some people...this is of course using the Term Lab which is the official mic.
Man I wish I didn't care about weight, I would have kept my 18" sub..that alone was 85 lbs, and the two batteries in the trunk were 150 lbs together.
I agree, some cars at shows are quite ugly, but sometimes its the work that is put into the cars or how difficult it is to do something, but still some, I dont find all that graet looking, but in a show car, it's all about presentation and it has to be ALL around.
Something that is unique is what will stand out to judges. Custom paint jobs, unique contrasts, etc.
If you got the money why not? Now if someone doesnt have the money then I totally agree...still living with mommy and daddy, not paying rent, having them buy you parts, thats stupid. But someone who participates in a hobby and it doesn't alter their normal habits or affect their day to day budget, I see no issues.
Yeah they can, buy coils, slam your car, choose the "correct # offset" when buying wheels, DONE. Anyone can do this foo, its if they want to or not LOL.
Read your post over and over again, I did I can't stop laughing LOL. But since you posted IMO i cant really say anything, the cost of slamming your car with offsets is x10 less than going fast or fixing up the body. The key is coil-overs and aggressive offset, choosing that "correct #" when buying your wheels, that's it, so let's give you a trophy for that? Newbie. You can stick your wheel as far out as you want, the judge at the show will just walk past it and won't even notice it, depends what you're in for.
OMFG How slammed you are and how your wheel sticks out is more important than speed or handling?!?!?!? WTF that might have been the stupidest fvcking comment i fvcking heard all day, holy shiet. I respect All Aggressive fitment cars and cars that slam their shiet, hell yeah I do i give them props for scraping with pride over everything, but because of that its better than speeding or handling?!? Or tuning up anything else on the car? U gotta be fvcking kidding me! You REALLY think if you stick your wheel out far and slam it, you're better than that wide body car that has expensive handling and 500whp + and everything else done to it!? Maaannn....theres a point to where someone can have their opinion...but you just basically said it like for example - i dont care about what kind of nice clothes i wear, shirts or pants, I just need to buy baller shoes and im good to go, that's totally enough, even if im wearing my ghetto outfit. Uuhhh No, u aint stunnin yet son.

see the problem is you're compare being slammed to having a fast car, that's like comparing orange and apples. Like g35heaven said people prioritize differently and in HIS opinion being slammed means more than going fast. Each person has their own taste and because taste is so subjective there is no reason in saying that what someone else likes is not as good as what you like. Some people want performance some people want looks. Whose to say which is better? It all depends on taste and past experiences. Anyone who feels insecure about their taste and would feel the need to put down another person's taste has some serious problems. There is no absolute right and wrong he said his opinion and you said yours. There is no point in trying to somehow say that your taste is better than his or that you get more respect in either one. Once again its so subjective and there is no point in arguing whose taste is better unless either side is insecure
