I had an awesome time with the G guys as always. Can't wait till the next trip!

Sorry to Dru and Gurgen, I wish I could've given you rides but I needed to get some fast laps in before the day was over. Alex was the first passenger that ever told me to stop drifting, and I got it all on tape!

I still can't believe you guys walked over 2 miles back to the hotel saturday night. Crazy fools... In case you guys were wondering what happened to Mike and I saturday night, I had to babysit.

 

Looks like you all had quite a time! Wished I could've been there, but you know. New baby takes a lot of time. Especially when I've got to take care of the wife, son and new daughter. maybe next time huh.

I just checked this section for a thread on California Speedway and didn't find anything.

When is it? A track event? Any track event! I must go!

 

Cali Speedway will be in July 21st or 22nd. I will not miss this track day for sure. Check out the Speed Venture website for the exact dates.

Nice vids. Its amazing how much action you have to put on the steering wheel to correct those slides. Great job out at Spring. I def want a ride with you on the next one!!

what the videos don't show, are the amount of G's the driver (and passenger) experience going through the turns. I was seriously being thrown around (and getting motion sickness) in your car.. btw, I think the laps where I rode with you would have been pretty fast... that is, if your car didn't run low on gas.. next time..

also, what video camera do you have mounted??

 

He's using the older Sony DCR-PC110 MiniDV cam using a special mounting bracket that replaces the wind visor bewteen the roll hoops. Works good huh!
