Hey Clint!! yeah.. it works great. pretty good resolution, yet small and compact. Is this the same camera that you have mounted? Also, was your mounting bracket custom made? if not, where can I get one..

Thanks for the info..

I have a similar DV cam from Canon. The video quality is better than his because it is much newer, but for all intent and purpose either work just as good. Yeah, I custom designed and had that bracket cut for me. The concept is pretty simple. I do need to find a wider angle lens that is better than the 0.7x I'm using, so I can capture a wider field of view. Something in the 0.5x range or lower would be nice.

I also have some nice footages from Spring Mountain, but damn the stupid PC ... it fried my Canon's i/o ports/

That was on a set of dying R-compound tires. You wanna see close ... check out this one.
It was about as scary as the close call I had at Laguna Seca.

btw, the Cruisecam mount is neat, but very quirky to use. I also did not like the actual camera mount (head) they have.

Damn that's some crazy video. Makes me pucker just watching.

That was good driving skill seeing how you instantly reoriented yourself to driving backwards and avoided the wall.

Whew!
