No, it doesn't retract, but there is no gap/hole behind the screen. The pocket cover is still in it. The best thing is the frame color of the Pioneer monitor matches with the radio button.

thanks.. it's a shame i'm probably gonna sell it soon.

i'd like to get a headunit with retractable screen but it's so hard to do that stuff with the way the instrument panels are being made these days..

nah.. getting a different car entirely.. trying to save some money but getting out before i end up with negative equity..

i am happy with the service there. they have a good staff. only thing was that i was wishing that it had was a dvd player with it, it was also one of the reasons y i wanted a aftermarket nav. other then that everything was been good with it. thanks andy for all the help with my car.
