ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!
I got the 380 miles figure from last years run down. I do suspect we will want to change
drivers before a fillup stop though. Hopefully we can change drivers every hour or so.
My navigator buddy (my neighbor) is an ex-racer and a very competive driver. I can't
imagine him watching me drive for hours without kicking me out the front door and
scooting over. hehe

what gas station? not trying to be an @ss but I'm just picky, normally I only use Chevron. another question, what radios are commonly used to keep in touch? the little Motorola talk-a-bouts?
There are gas stations all along the route. Exxon, Shell, and Shamrock appear to be the most common gas stations along the course. There will be an Exxon station near the lunch location. Shortly after lunch, 132 miles into the Stampede, there will be a Chevron station, so if you can go that long, you can use that one. I haven't decided yet on which gas station to use for the break in the afternoon. I will try to make sure it is a name brand like Exxon, Shell, or Chevron, but it may not be.
Radios: You are correct: Like Motorola Talkabouts. There is some more info on this under FAQ on the web site.

This weekend's weather forecast in the Austin area has 30% chance of rain. It's still too early to follow any forecast. I will try - no guarantee - to get a weather forecast up on the home page as we get closer to the event day. I WILL make sure to keep registered Bull Riders up to date of the weather forecsast via email starting a few days before the event.
thanx for the info turk. I've got the talkabouts with a hella range (something like 7 miles) so that works out great. agree with hoping for clear weather like we're having here. its been 70s everyday

SouthPark is my favorite show! The beautiful weather we have had in the
Houston area looks to be leaving...
We need a massive prayer to
bring it back for next weekend!

weather got a bit wet here last couple of days also. started checking the austin forecast daily to see what the weather guru of Austin says. 61-62 and partly cloudly is the prediction so far for next saturday. not the greatest but could be much worse.

30% chance of showers, temps around 60 degrees. Hmmmmm.
Let's do it anyway! As long as it's not pouring, it should be OK.
Sometimes wet roads can be more fun. Hopefully the weather guys
are wrong and it will be rain free. I need my map!!

agree with cato. they've been predicting showers here all week and we're dry so far. I'm just south in San Antonio. supposed to rain the next day or two then stop but still be cloudy. don't care if it's cloudy, as long it's warm and the tarmac's dry!!
Hey guys,
The Weather Forecast page is up and running on the web site. Two more G35 owners registered today (up to 18 cars). Finally, Maxwell Nissan in Round Rock contributed two Igloo PlentiKool coolers today (each worth about $125).
I agree with LivyathanZero re the forecast. It is interesting to note that we had a similar situation with the weather just before the last Stampede. Chances of rain existed all the way up to the day before the drive, but the actual event day was gorgeous with sunny skies. I hope a similar thing happens this time.

Man, just reading this gets me all psyched up. I'm trying to see if I can convince some of the local G's here in DFW to roll up there as well.
Do you guys know if any Z's are rolling up there. Do ya'll have the names?
Thanks,
Joe (aka JD)
