where to buy claybar in Houston?
where to buy claybar in Houston?
I went to autozone, and asked them, and they never even heard of it. Does anyone know where I can buy a claybar, or the claybar kit around here?
I also know that you're suppose to use some solution when you apply it on the car, people say I can just mix water with car wash soap. Is this true?

I can't believe they didn't have it.
Check another AZ or pep boys or o'reillys, wal mart, or even an ace hardware. I even think that target carries the meguirs stuff.
I use a capful of the zaino soap with water since I got my clay from them as well. I know you can buy the whole mothers or meguirs kit and it comes with a lubricant spray.

A claybar is a great tool for getting general "stuff" off you paint....be it tar, bugs, Houston grunge build-up...whatever. It is a handy tool to have. It literally is a bar of some type of clay.

I got mine from Zaino's website. And yes you can just use water mixed with car soap, for the lubricant. Check out www.zaino.com and they have directions for it.

Also, quick tip for those that might not know this. If you use a damp fabric softener sheet on the bumper, it will do wonders on removing bug crap off.
