Hey Dallas Drivers.....an idea
Hey guys,
I live in Rockwall and am constantly battling cops on I-30 going into Dallas (across the Lake Ray Hubbard).
I've received 3 tickets in 9 months while doing speeds that I don't think are unreasonable. Two of those tickets are under 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. The other one was 14 over.
I'm think about starting a Blog for Dallas motorists (more specifically G35 drivers....since I am one) to help inform everyone of local speed traps.
I want to provide information on most common radar guns being used (researching the most common bands being used), maps and digital photography of the locations as well as providing personal accounts from readers on the latest techniques being used by local law inforcement.
Is this something you guys would use and/or want to help with?
I'm not against the law inforcement here. I think there is a need for protecting law abiding citizens from wreckless drivers. However, I feel that several officers are now going beyond the law to ticket drivers for the sake of providing additional income to their respective cities.
Thoughts? You can PM if you want to help out.
Again, this is an idea of mine that I really want to get moving on. I want to do it in the form of a Blog, because it's faster and easier manage.
Thanks,
Jeff

Obviously, there is SpeedTraps.com, but I really wanted to make something that is more specific and up to date for our immediate area.
Just a thought.
Just a thought.
guys on my old bike forums made it a lot simpler. One thread that they always posted in. Anytime anyone in the metro area saw cops stationary with a radar gun they would state exactly where, what day, and what time.
And some friendly advice, go buy a V1, it helps immensely. And if anyone ever wants to bond your tickets, or help getting out of them, I have someone to refer you to. It won't go on your record. PM if you are interested.

I've never received a ticket while using a radar detector. Every time I've gotten a ticket, my detector was at home.
I just bought my X50 on Monday and had it hard wired into my car.
You in the Dallas area?
