Calling all H-town Gs. The Austin guys have a great thing going. Is there any interest in a Houston rally? There are some pretty good driving roads around here. The drive out to Brazos Bend State Park is a good example. We need to get something going here. I suggest a morning get togeather followed by a cool drive. Anyone interested? Any suggestions on driving routes?

I would suggest an early morning drive to avoid traffic. Say we meet at a Starbucks, juice up, check out the rides and then cruise!

Now you know not to count me out on this event...I'm in...let me know...I think Brazos State Park is a great idea they have some good twisties! I just hope i can keep up!

i was thinking galveston would be another good destination! maybe a cooler breeze coming off the gulf!?

 

that's a great idea you've got going here cato. wonder where it came from. haha j/k. if it's a weekend and you plan a great route. I'd see about making an h-town rally. though it'd suck for me since around Austin, I think mine's the most modified G I've seen. in houston, I'm below average. it's all just bragging rights but for a young guy bragging rights can be important......not that they matter to me of course. well.....um.... I'm off to look at twin turbos some more

 

hey Infinite, just saw your post. don't know if cato could handle that. both ClubG35 slackers in one rally. that'd be a first. if you're in, I'll definitely plan to make it. just have to know when it is cause I can only come on weekends.

 

Anytime after this weekend I'm definitely in!!!! Yeah two slackers i don't think cato could handle it! But at least you'll be able to keep up with the pack I'm still stock right now....

 

agree, I've got work and a rally here this weekend. any saturday or sunday after this and I'm in. I'm barely above stock but after the last Stampede, I learned it's just as much or more about driver ability than what's done to your car.

Should hear it as well!!!! It is an awesome coupe, see it in the 2nd Raging Bull Texas Stampede picture post here on this forum. Come on, are you a card shark also? Don't know about a cruise to Galveston... I have not driven any good roads to the beach, just highway six and I45, both suck.

 

Cato I agree...I think the only good road to Galveston is Beltway 8...hahahah...although it would be nice to see a bunch of G's cruising the Seawall....So i guess if we can get this Rally together this can take place for H-town's monthly meet! Come on Houston participate!!!!!

Oh yeah and i did see the stampede pics and judging by the comments Liv you are so modest!! I can't wait to see/hear your car in person!
