Any one in Houston area do a Double Din?

Hi all,

My CD player has done it again, CD FO ERROR. I have had it with this POS! So I'm investigating the Double Din replacement of that POS. Has anyone in the Houston area gone this route? I need some help and sugestions on how to get music back into my G35......

I'm looking into it, but may have to wait until after christmas (eclipse 5435).

I have done quite a bit of investigating upgrading to a double din stereo upgrade. It looks like it cannot be done for under at least $1000.
I am not willing to spend that much money....I could replace the POS stock HU three times for that. Sooooo I think I will just replace this piece of crap with another POS. Pardon my French! This really sucks! I have even entertained the thought of putting a single CD player in the upper Glove box, and using the stock radio and cassette. Infiniti should be ashamed of this CD changer...I know I am.

Cato...my cd player just went out on me a couple days ago with that ERR FO message. This will be the first time after 73k miles. Since my warranty is gone, how much is it to replace the POS at the dealership? And is that the only thing they can do is replace it? They don't know how to fix it?

I was quoted around $325 to have another POS put into my G.......
I'm sure they will not offer to put anything else in it, and it will not be a new one, but refurbished and sure to die soon. OH GOD.... WHY ME?????????
