How did it cost you over $50? Did you end up using synthetic or something?

Chris: I can understand mistakes happening but they left 2 fasteners out of your car. Pretty important in the long range of things. They should have a spot they put everything in so before they bring the car down they should check to make sure they don't have leftover parts. If they left 2 fasteners each time, your front deflector wouldn't have anything holding it on after 1 year.

Re: Atlantic Infiniti - Jacksonville Fl

the situation i heard about, someone was charged for a "servicing" rather than just an oil change....which is what they had requested.

And, yes, fasteners are important! after all they were included with the car.

Re: Atlantic Infiniti - Jacksonville Fl

They tried to pull the same crap with me. When I came in at 3,750 miles, they charged me $34 for the oil change, but when I brought it in at 11,250 they tried to charge me $50. I complained and told them that they charged me $34 previously and they said that was a "coupon price" despite the fact I have never received a coupon from them. I ended up getting it done for $34 but still felt they were trying to rip me off.

I think they are trying to charge us for the premium maintenance schedule which includes checking fluids in addition to the oil change. When I took the car in at 3,750 they asked me if I wanted to go on the premium maintenance schedule but I declined. So ask to see a copy of their scheduled maintenance charges book for the G35 when you're sitting in that little room and I'll bet that it says $29.99 for an oil change.

Another option is to take it to a Nissan dealership here in Jax since they only charge around $25 for an oil change.
