Tint help!
Hey guys i need help!
I Live about 20 mins south of Chattanooga, Tn and 1hr and 40 mins north of Atlanta.
My tint is fading into the hideous purple color, and I was wondering if anyone knows of a place close to me that will remove the old tint and apply a new one for a reasonable price?
The local shop quoted me $310!!!!

I just paid 175 for removal of all tint and Installation of new.
Lots of shops might only remove if you are getting new tints, or they will charge out the a$$ for removing one tint.
If it it just one window now thats turning purple I would redo it all since eventually they will all go.

Remove the tint yourself, it'll save you some $$$.
Tint is the easy part, but you'll need to remove the glue too.
Best thing for that is a spray bottle full of warm soapy water, and a razor scraper.
If you have heater wires running across the back glass, you might want to let them remove the tint on that one so you don't risk damaging the defogger.
