Re: 3M Clear Bra

yes it works great and i wished i had it installed in november when i bought the car. you can only see it if you are looking for the line on the hood and if you know it is there. the brighter it is outside the less you notice it. i priced 5 different places out and they all were the same price. i may even have Pepi redo my tint, he does good quality work and takes his time.

Re: 3M Clear Bra

yes you can wax it. i use klasse all in one and klasse high gloss sealant, the 3m film has a clear coat on it. as far as removing it, you can it will not hurt the paint, it may leave a little adheasive resedue on the edges but a little goo gone will remove that, but since it is not cheap i will not be removing mine anytime soon. as far as the warranty i do not remember i have the paperwork at home, i think the warranty info is on their website www.autosupershield.com.

Merlin
it was around $650, it included the side view mirrors, headlights, front bumper, and hood. on the hood it goes as far up as the headlights, and it also covers the side fender up to the headlights.

Re: 3M Clear Bra

Cool! I have the same exact car (same color). I email pepi to see if he can come to my house to do it. I think it's worth it. The warranty is 3 years. That's cool, I leased it for 36 months.

Re: 3M Clear Bra

Thanks Dude. I am thinking of getting my Sedan done. I have the black mask on there right now and everytime I take it off, I prefer the "No Bra" look.
But I HATE chips more so.........
One other ? though, the front bumper is COMPLETELY covered? Grill, lower openings etc.....

Re: 3M Clear Bra

I believe it is. Do a search on Yahoo on G35 Coupe Clear Bra and you can see all the parts of the car it covers. I emailed Pepi and he can do it for me. He's charging me $625 and throwing the lights in for free. What do you guys think? Have you paid cheaper elsewhere in the Dade or Broward area in Florida?

Merlin,
be careful with the black vinyl bras, i had one just on the hood of my t-bird for 2 weeks and it left a milky haze on the clear coat.

Re: 3M Clear Bra

AntRock,
I know, so I take it off every weekend and while washing make sure everything is OK. I have the red so it does not show up at all and I wax the "G" so much that I think the neighbors believe I am crazy, just can't stand when the water doesn't run off.
I have a white 4Runner and the mask on it marks it all the time and I have to use a clear/wax after washing.

Ggirl,
So the labor looks like $150. Isn't that kind of high, considering that they make money on the kit too?
I had installed the headlight protectors fron Stone Guard myself and don't need those.
Keep us posted.

Re: 3M Clear Bra

Well, he said that the kit is $400 and he charges $250 for labor. He comes to my house and does it in my garage. He's about 50 miles away from my house so I really like the fact that he's mobile. And I have not heard of other people closer to me that install this.
