I almost died... again...

So here I am again posting yet another near death experience... Since my last one slamming on my breaks around the 134 to the 2fwy south...

This time it's my sway bars that kicked into action...

So it's been a long night of driving through the 1hwy to the 101fwy from UCDavis back down to LA, I'm dead tired and sleepy... Been driving for over 8 hours with a break or two in between to gas up...

Passing Van Nuys area around Cold Water Canyon Blvd. I'm going 79mph in the #1 lane (Thats the fastest lane on the left) going east bound on the 101fwy heading home. Next thing I realize I notice HeadLights coming up fast around the curve. I'm thinking ok there's somthing wrong here.. he's ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE WALL!!!

I swearve 2 lanes to avoid him and it looked like he swerved with me to try and hit me head on. Guy was homicidal... Thank goodness I missed him by a few feet. I called 911 and they caught him 10 minutes later.

I have a picture of the Sigalert details at home I'll post it up after I get home from work...

Dood I seroiusly got some sort of important purpose in life... Man that **** was scary...

Situation... Parents were in the car thank god my mom was sleeping or she would have screamed her head off... My dad... laughed at the idiot driving the wrong way and didnt even think of calling 911. I did of course =.=;

UPDATE

So the cops called me back asked me for a statement and my information. I gave them my statement over the phone and told them I dont want to give out my information if that guy has any way of finding out who i am. I dont want him to know it was me who put him in jail. So I told them if they really need my statment to prosecute the guy I will. Otherwise leave my personal information out of it.

So apparently the guy was **** drunk didnt hit anyone and ended up crashed into the bushes by the 101 and 405fwy...

Wow... it took them almost an hour to get a CHP out there???
I really hope it's that I just don't quite understand what they mean by "CHP Unit Enroute" at 2:00 AM...

First thought to cross my mind after seeing this, no matter how wrong it is -
Were they busy rushing for some donut and coffee special somewhere?
Or were they just too busy harrassing an import with a muffler?

doooood ... u see those things on the news about every 6-9 months.. and they almost always end in a fatality.

You used up a few guardian angels on that one- I am very happy that you were NOT on the news.

Count your F-ing lucky stars and now go do some good w/ your life. That SH*T is serious.

Don't think your sways saved your life unless you were doing 90 degree turns but in any case, thank goodness you and your parents are safe.
