You'll need a torque wrench and a little bit of musle, and a couple hours of time. Good to draw note's on where to put back all the stuff you unplug. It's fairly easy just time consuming :-P

I forget how much torque it is to put back the bolts on. Remember not to put the bolts back on in a continuious fashion but crisscoss them like you would bolts on a wheel.

If your looking for a shop - call Joe at Operation Z - 818-886-8040. Located basically at Lindley and Parthenia just south of the train tracks on the East side of the street.

Tell Joe I sent you...he'll take care of you VERY well. Joe and I go back about 20 years and he does work on my G as well.

Rick

What do you think about this one?
The AAM Angled Plenum Spacer for the G35, 350Z & FX35 is the ultimate upgrade in the quest for more power. THIS IS OUR MOST POPULAR UPGRADE FOR THE VQ35DE - AND THE BIGGEST HORESPOWER GAIN FOR THE MONEY! The billet aluminum spacer sits between the factory upper and lower plenum, creating a larger volume to rush towards the cylinders. Power gains across the board. The upper RPM range opens up considerably. You get to keep your factory engine cover, your factory strut bar (350Z) and gain 10-15HP in under an hour.

AAM is a POS no offence.. but the spacer has some razor sharp edges and it uses 3 of the stock bolts in stead of suppling its own so u have a bunch of silver bolts and 3 black ones lol. and where everyother plenum company replaces the two studs & nuts on the lower collector AAM just ignores the studs.. so u have like an 1/4 of the plenum not bolted down stick with the motordyne oen

Motordyne Spacer

If you're up for a trip down to Yorba Linda, I'll help you install the spacer and iso-thermal plenum, I did it on my own car 05 AT Coupe and it was pretty straight-forward. Just bring a torque wrench
