so i woke up at 8:00 this morning to my car and guess what i find. yes sir: SCRATCHES no..not just the surface ones that you can buff out...these are 2-3 inch long each that you can fit your finger nail through and run throughout the length of the scratch. needless to say that the clearcoat is ruined and i'm going to need to get it repainted. i know you guys always post about haters and such keying our cars..but man now i really know what you guys went through. they must've worked on it pretty good too..the paint is all jagged and there's moderately deep scratches around it like they were trying to saw into my bumper with something (with great success...) what a bunch of fvckin a$$holes..i was excited this morning too cuz i was supposed to get my front lip put on today, and that got delayed until next week. arghh way to kill my mood

anyway now that i'm done ranting about that..anyone recommend a good body shop in san diego near la jolla area that i can take my car to for a repaint? i'm going down to san diego this saturday and will be there for the rest of the summer so i might as well get it repainted down there. also how much would it be to have it repaired and repainted? if any of you guys have an alternative to repainting please let me know. any feedback/recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

^Reminds me of yesterday as I waited for the valet to bring my car around at work. The owner of a new AMG S class walks to his car drops off his stuff and notcies a Carrera S4 parked behind, he walks over to look at it and the owner comes out of no where and starts yelling at the guy to not touch his car...guy was such a dick...

Anyways, doesnt look like someone keyed your car. Looks more like someone with a truck backed into it.

damn that blows....i left my car out on my drive this past weekend only to find it drenched with soda. i didn't even wake up till mid-day, it's kewl though what am i going to do have a pitty party. i just washed it and karma is ****.

 

wait..am i overlooking something?!?! the pics of the scratches are only on the front bumper...you see some other scratches i'm not aware of? and don't worry about the lip..i'm just mad that it's not guna look as nice with the stupid scratches. when you guna be going to sd?

 

nah its not a car that hit me...would've been a dent somewhere at least. around the scratches the paint is perfect. i was actually thinking cuz of the round scratches..someone mightve been trying to squueze past the car on a bicycle...lost their balance and voila, nice lil present for me in the morning...

 

yeah i feel you...i occasionally find my car bathing in beer also in the morning since i was staying near campus just for the summer and there's parties every weekend. at least that's fixable with a lil scrubbin

yeah me and jasper were sitting there trying to fit it over and over again for like a good 15mins and we have no clue why either his theory on something about heat and expansion. well we'll see how this one goes...hit me up when you come down to sd!

 

take this opportunity to mold that baby into the bumper will look sick!
