Custom Wood Doors

Hey everyone..

Doing some home remodeling and needed a custom wood door done. Anyone know of a shop anywhere in southern california where they'll do excellent work??

I have no clue where the heck to look for... Home Depot doesn't have what I'm looking for.. they have fiberglass doors which are ok (that'll be my very last resort)..

any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

thanks in advance.

What's up?

Wally I use to work at a hardware store and knew all sorts of vendors throughout SoCal. While working at the store I could get all sorts of hook-ups, but those days are gone : (

There is a shop in El Monte that sells doors and windows at a very good price. It is located on Rush street about a 1/2 mile east of Rosemead Bl (It might be just past Santa Anita, if I remember correctly). I cannot think of the shops name off the top of my head, but they carry the majority of the major door manufacturers. They will actually beat Lowes and Depot prices and get special orders quicker!

They are located next to a window manufacturing company. I will be in that area on Friday and will pass by and find out the name for you.

Carlos

Hey Carlos thanks for the info! Doing some browsing online today, funny but I found the exact same store you're talking about!

they're called Door and Window Plus. and yea it's on Rush Street. I saw their website and their before and after work are amazing!! I'm definitely going to have them do the work.

I will let you guys know how everything goes.
