please post a closeup pic with the setting sun hitting the side windows directly, like my pic above.

Yes I got ceramic, they did a really good job! I'm not sure about wetshrink or dryshrink.

I was thinking about getting my tint redone in a darker shade along with the front windshield. If they are really offering ceramic, I'm there. How dark did you go and can you post what model tint they used? On your receipt there should be something indicated under "complete tint". Thanks.

I called them about 10 mins ago and was told that my car cannot be done today (redoing the whole car) because there already are 7 cars including one redo. I was gonna go this morning, but I completely forgot about it until I saw this post about half an hour ago. LOL

http://www.johnsonwindowfilms.com/IR.php

yes, they really use ceramic.
it's offered in 30,40,50-70 only. check the website.
if they gave you 20,25, or any non-multiple of ten, then you don't have ceramic.

30 looks dark if you have dark interior.

I think cali tint buys so much film that they get a big discount, and that's why they can do it for so cheap.

HEY GUYS, if you're going to Cali Tint, be sure to ask them how they deal with GHOSTING (squiggle flame marks) on the ceramic tint.
See what their response is, and please update here.
If they say they've eliminated it 99%, that's good news.

oh, and for those who have already got the johnson ceramic............ in order to check for ghosting, you have to squat down so that your face is around your door handles. Then bob your head side to side to see if there is a change in color. you can detect it easiest during the rising or setting sun.

The code is 23, looks perfect, not too dark and not too light. The shop owner's (Peter) BMW 6-series has the same exact tint too, you can see it when you go over there. Can't really take pics right now since I'm at work.

lol yea, they were closed when you did the photoshoot and I've been meaning to go but something always comes up on Saturdays.

No school and no work today, so bamm, got my windows tinted. When I got home, I got a few goodies for the cars and just barely finished a lil while ago. All in all, not a bad day!
