Fuel Filler Hose Safety Recall + Modified Car = ?

This is an old safety recall from way back when to replace the fuel filler hose.

I'm finally considering getting it done.

Can anyone with a 03-06 Coupe that is modified who had this work done, recommend a dealership in the SoCal region?

Basically need to find a competent dealership willing to work on modified cars.

Riverside Infiniti???

if you don't know what i am talking about, than carry on

Thank you

based on the research i've done in the last 30 minutes, the overall consensus is this:

Tustin = the best there is
Cerritos = NO GOOD
Costa Mesa = NO GOOD

any other input would be appreciated

this is a recall, they dont even care if your car is modified. Your not getting warranty work done, your getting a recall work that they do because they are worried you gas filler tube will crack and leak. Id say Riverside Infiniti but they scratched the F of my engine bay when replacing my engine under oil consumption. They also didnt put my greddy exhaust back on the hangers right so it rubbed on the frame brace in the middle, it made the exahust vibrate on it and they let me drive off with it like that, I was back within half a block.

Costa Mesa is a good dealership and wont care, talk to Chris Karr, shes really nice and has taken great care of me every time. Call and talk to her and tell her that your heavily modified and see what she says.

i'm asking more about the ability for them to take care of your modified car. plus some dealerships just won't work on modified cars because they can't.

i looked over the .pdf for the recall and they take almost everything apart in the rear, including brakes, shocks, rear diff assembly, exhaust, driveshaft, etc.

it looks pretty intense to get to the hoses they need replacing.

but i think i will be going with Tustin Infiniti

Recall vs Stealership......?

I wouldn't have it done unless I was having issues with the hose. I don't
trust the dealerships when it comes to doing quality work.....and never
wash my car for me.

oh wow I didnt know even what it took to get to that hose. My bad guys, that wouldnt be good for heavily modified. Your right, now that I think about it Im shoulda been a little worried if they dropped the whole rear sub frame
