fyi...meter maids have no authority to direct traffic on any public roads yet they do it. What's going to happen if they get hit by a passer? They were doing something not authorized to do.
really? meter maids hit up almost every intersection during rush hour out here in LA, maybe its a lil different out here.

i feel your pain. west LA and santa monica are notorious, too. i've wasted about 150 bux already on no front plate tix. i live in SM and i will not park on the residential streets! haha

OP, when on melrose, park down one of the residential streets. i always do that, like on spalding or whatnot. i haven't had any problems yet. *knock on wood*

i try to, but in most cases unless it has a meter it is probably permit parking and that costs more than a plate ticket haha

i have front plate tix up the assssss..... ugh i hate it
but my plates are in so now there is no issue
