I usually
1.wash
2.dry.
3.clay
4.wax
5.put shiny stuff on wheels hahah =)

I dont think your suppose to clay it before you wax it since claying removes all baked on residue from the body.

it doesnt take long to properly clay a car the size of a g35... and i would consider using a quality sealant instead of wax, it will protect the finish much longer (sealants 3-6 months vs. wax 2 weeks-2 months)... i'd recommend klasse AIO as it provides phenomenal protection and a deep 'wet' shine'... or if you can, try out some of zaino's products, definitely top quality...

k, Mz Suprahh I'll give you a call after work if you're still working on the car I'll help ya out..

and plus I'll try to secretly take ninja pictures while ur washing

Klumzyee Ninja FTMFW

BTW her Supra is Pearl White so she'll want to use something that'll just make the pearls blingggg instead of a wet gloss finish (IMO better to bring out silver and dg)
