Anyone in inglewood?
I was living in an apartment in Westwood and walked to work. Now our office is moving over to Inglewood, near Slauson. I'm looking for a new apartment in that area with a garage. I wondering for those people living Inglewood/Crenshaw/Hyde Park, how is it over there? What areas should I avoid and is it safe to have my G there? Thanks.

I'd suggest making the commute. If I had a choice, no doubt I'd choose Westwood over Inglewood, I think anyone would.
Drive down to "Tha Shaw" right now and just hang out for a bit. You'll quickly realize why if you had a choice you wouldn't want to live there.
All that said, still the best place for a haircut, I'm over there every 2 weeks.

you'll probably see the ghetto ice cream truck rollin' thumping chain hang low er-day. and you'll have bars on ur window and fried chicken place every other block like starbucks. u wouldn't wanna live there. if any happens, cops probably show up like hours later and your ride probably gonna raped. seriously though man do commute with a beater. you'll just waste your money, time, and effort moving there for 30mins.
just drive over there and observe and you'll probably slap yourself for thinking such a stupid idea of moving there.

You can always live across the way in Manhattan, Hermosa or even Westchester
but as far as walking around unless you are either Mexican or Black would be taking a big risk. I know ALOT of people in Inglewood and I still am very cautios about going there especially at night because of my Personalized plates that can be confused with the name of one of the big Gangs in the Lennox area(worst part of Inglewood. that and the Crenshaw area.
