This guy is new to the area. He needs to be aware of what L.A.'s about. Did you hear about that one family from Ohio who took a wrong turn into a cul-de-sac? They were all gunned down because they didn't belong in that neighborhood and even the 2 kids in the back seat were killed.

Random people have pointed guns at me and my family for no reason. Several of my cousins were held up at gun point and I have 4 Uncles who are in law enforcement - LAPD and DEA.

When I left Pasadena to move up to Northern Cali, there was some idiot who were randomly shooting people down onto the 210 freeway and several people where shot and I believe someone was killed. This was back in 1996.

This guy also need to watch out for high speed chases.

Should I continue?

Did L.A. crime has come down since I'd moved up here in Northern Cali?

I would just hate to hear this new guy or any new person getting into any trouble. I don't think this new guy would remain w/in the city limits of where he lives. I'm sure he'll venture out throughout L.A.

No It's still here I just read in the LA TIMES a few days ago that LAPD finally told of a Serial Killer in my area that has been around for the past 23 years he's killed 11 people 10 women/girls 1 man all were african american. The Bodies were dumped along the Western ave area. That's the Next Major street to the East of Me. Also the Security guard at B of A on crenshaw & 29th was shot and killed by someone who took his gun. Hey Gerry LAPD? Can you get me some of their Business Cards?

Not only that if someone does something to you while driving and you get mad, just ignore it even if its their fought, there's no point debating or arguing with someone that will just end up point gun at you because they are so mad and can care less if they are right are wrong, trust me, i been on both ends and sides of that situation

Thanks again guys. Kind of scary so I will definitely be careful and I am not the type of person to instigate anything or get mad about trivial stuff.

Hell ya dude. My one friend freakin always purposely rolls right up next to another car, looks at their direction like staring them down and gives them that stupid rock devil hand signal and sticks out his tongue. He shouldn't stop because it might get him killed but because what he is doing is ghey as fvck.

G-girl,

It's always good to take precautions. But you seem a little paranoid

I sometimes like playing my own games with the idiots out in the road . Though, I surely wouldn't recommend that to anyone

IMO, always take precaution. But don't let any of those idiots and any previous incidents "scare" you about doing anything you haven't done wrong.

Oh yes, and welcome "k662".

You should drive up to the S.F. Valley: the best place in L.A

Alright, just be careful k662.

And hey, I've been alive longer than most of you guys, 88 years. I guess the crime rate in L.A. has gone down since I've moved up here.

Just beware of your surroundings k662. I don't want to have to type, "I told you so".
