Got my major service today. Dealt with Donald - awesome guy.

$270 Major Service included:
-Replace Engine Oil 10W/30
-Replace Engine Oil Filter
-Replace Engine Oil Pan Drain Washer
-Replace Transmission Fluid (Drain and Fill with 4 quarts of Matic!)
-Replace Differential Fluid
-Replace Engine Coolant
-Replace Air Filter
-Tire Balance and Rotation
-Inspection of a ton of things and diagnostics

Also got:

- Front OEM rotors and pads for FAR less than the dealer charges. Dealer and another shop told me that I need new rotors and pads in rear as well but Donald told me that the rear rotors can easily be cut one more time and pads were at 45%.

- A couple severely cracked drive belts for $110 incl. install.

Go check out this shop. I drove from LA and it was worth it. And I love spending my money with someone who actually deserves it. To top it off, he was very friendly and immediately cracked open a key chain ring from the retail wrapper because I had several keys that I needed to take with me.

This guy knows Infinitis and Nissans. It was nice to chat with him about the cars we both love. He also serviced my Lexus very well.

Quote: Isn't a full drain of the system like 14 quarts?
.........no

even 14 quarts is a bit much for a flush......you're probably thinking of a flush.....but you dont need no 14 quarts.

They have a Mobil1 special this month. LOF with factory filter and Mobil1: $44.95

http://www.carzoneautorepair.com/specials.htm

Is Mobil1 better than Eneos?

Just had the rear axle click fixed and found the cause of a rattle thats been bugging me for some time now. I've been to 2 other shops who I will not mention here that said it was my coilovers that were defective. Donald and William found and fixed the rattle...thank you! They certainly have my business!
