Transgo VB Kit installer

Hey guys, I've been doing some research on this upgrade and am thinking about getting it. I'm planning on getting the GTM transgo valvebody upgrade kit ($285) and was wondering if anyone knew of a good transmission shop that stands behind their work where I could have it installed.

I've yet to call GTM and get a quote for the install, but I just wanted to have some more options available. Thanks in advance

Precision Z up in the valley and Oceanside Transmission just south of Camp Pendleton will do it. I'm sure there are other places, but those are the ones I've seen specifically mentioned on driver & my350z.

From what I've read, the effects of it is sorta like adding a grounding kit, but better. Under normal driving it's not much different, but under spirited driving and WOT, shifts will be a lot quicker and crisper. Also everyone seems to go with the trango kit and says to stay away from the stillen vb upgrade.

Thanks for the info bigc

^ How much was the install, if you don't mind me asking? Did the gears and vb upgrade make a big difference? I always hear good things about corner 3 garage.
