Maybe mileage has something to do with it? I have 109K+ on the shell of my G, bought the car brand new in 03 sticker was $39K...all I know is my fees get cheaper every year!!

I just paid mine :/

$508 total

Thats total crap, they charged me a $200 late fee! WTF!!!

I heard that Sacramento had doubled our renewal fees....news media. So when I got my 2K10 renewal it only went up $30. But of course having an '04 I also had to do the Smog Test another $50....still not bad compared to what I had expected. On a week like this one, sunshine 80+ degrees I'm glad to call SoCal my home....
