SoCal Lowered friendly Smog Test Station - South Gate
After looking online at a bunch of places with in ground smog dynos, I was confident (based on Google Maps) that I could get in and out of their driveways without scraping my front bumper which sits a tad less than 2" off the ground.
I ended up getting smogged at the place adjacent to City Tire in South Gate today when I got my alignment. They had a ramp smog dyno but the owner was cool and letting me press the gas myself in order to conduct the test so I didn't have to go on the ramp (no way was I getting on, not even close). I told him I would tell all of my friends with slammed rides about him since he said he'd be willing to accommodate other slammed rides in the future like he did mine.

They did ask if I had any engine modifications. I told them/showed them the APS plenum and FuRookie intake. They asked for a CARB sticker for the FuRookie and thankfully I had a sticker from a JWT intake on the underside of my battery cover (thanks Alan for hooking me up with this a while back when you parted out!). Also they did a visual inspection to make sure I didn't have HFCs/TPs.
These guys were real accommodating I would highly recommend them for slammed rides even though they don't have an in ground smog dyno. Enter on Atlantic in the south driveway you'll be able to get in and out no prob.

got car smogged today and have to report a few things
1. the guy didn't let me hold the rpms myself, I guess his ego got in the way having failed a few times to keep a stable rpm
2. I know my car is low so services cost a bit more but not when smog check's are ~40-50 everywhere and I pay $80 which is the same I paid for my 96 corolla for a SMOG CHECK ONLY (the actual simulated test). Just letting you guys know before you guys head down
