fix it tickets... need help

Does anyone know anybody or have any connections in the CHP or watever that can help sign a tint ticket off?

I got pulled over again. G drivers, becareful on Melrose Ave...
cops there pull so many people with tints, not even funny.

I have 6% all around and 43% on the windshield...
i roll thru the intersection at like 20mph... a motorcycle cop passes on the opposite side, turns and looks at me, makes a u turn, pulls behind me on the left side, i was the parked 2nd from the red light.

he looks, then he pulls up next to my car, looks at me again, then look closer.
he can't see me, but i was looking at him, then finally, he flashes his lights, then taps my window and say LOWER DOWN YOUR WINDOW... i lower it, he tells me, u can't have tinted windows on the front.

i was like foreals? then he goes, yah, "boy those are not even tinted windows, they are like black windows, limo black. pull over on the curb"

then yah... u know what happens next

Go to a dermatalogist or some kind of Dr. and get a note.

When I went to court to fight my speeding ticket(and won) some dude was rolling around with limo tints on the front. He handed the judge a Dr.'s note saying that he needs tints because he has migranes. The judge looked at the cop vice versa... Judge told the defendant to make sure that he keeps this note in his car.

The tints still need to be removeable, per 26708 of the California vehicle code,
(10) Sun screening devices meeting the requirements of Section 26708.2 installed on the side windows on either side of the vehicle's front seat, if the driver or a passenger in the front seat has in his or her possession a letter or other document signed by a licensed physician and surgeon certifying that the person must be shaded from the sun due to a medical condition, or has in his or her possession a letter or other document signed by a licensed optometrist certifying that the person must be shaded from the sun due to a visual condition. The devices authorized by this paragraph shall not be used during darkness.

26708.2. Sun screening devices permitted by paragraph (10) of subdivision (b) of Section 26708 shall meet the following requirements:

(a) The devices shall be held in place by means allowing ready removal from the window area, such as a frame, a rigid material with temporary fasteners, or a flexible roller shade.

(b) Devices utilizing transparent material shall be green, gray, or a neutral smoke in color and shall have a luminous transmittance of not less than 35 percent.

(c) Devices utilizing nontransparent louvers or other alternating patterns of opaque and open sections shall have an essentially uniform pattern over the entire surface, except for framing and supports. At least 35 percent of the device area shall be open and no individual louver or opaque section shall have a projected vertical dimension exceeding 3/16 inch.

(d) The devices shall not have a reflective quality exceeding 35 percent on either the inner or outer surface.
Added Ch. 74, Stats. 1984. Effective January 1, 1985.

Yeah...
They didn't discuss that legal jargon in court that day.

But like I said earlier, the judge dismissed the ticket and told the defendant to keep the note in his car.

I have a note like that, and the cop just laughed in my face and said Sorry son go talk to the court. The judge still made me pay the fine and remove my tints. I dont know how that could happen.

Im not calling you a liar, but personally it has happened to me. My uncle is a dermo and he got me the note. All i can say is this, dont drive like an idiot and you wont get the tickets.

Jason just pay the $100 and get it over with dude. if you want a good cheap guy to redo the tints let me know dude. and next time if he's next to you roll your window down so he can see you. Ive been stopped a million times and no tickets for tint (touch wood). As long as you let them see you youre fine they most likely will let you go but in that area its iffy.

I have the same tints I have full limo and 50% on the front windshield sometimes I cant even see out
