Anyone here? If so, there was a clip of your car on KUSA racing at Qualcomm's Friday night drags.

 

Oh yeah, I meant KUSI channel 9, not KUSA.

 

Saw that clip on the news while at work also. Looked like it had some fat wheels on. I'm curious too.

 

That was me. The track (parking lot) was kind of slippery that night. I posted a invite for it here and my350z, but no one responded. There was alot of cars out that night along with the car show they had. They plan on racing again on the 22nd why don't you guys come down it's 20 to race 5 to watch.

 

Dsskyline, did you see the clip (actually, they showed it twice)? Your car looked sweet as it went down the track. What offsets on the Roja's and do you have more pics?

 

No I didn't see the clip alot of people asked if it was me or not. I think that is the 2nd time I've been on the news the 1st time they actually interviewed me. Do you know if there is anyway for me to get a copy of the clip? I would love to send it to my friends in japan since I used to own a skyline gts25t when I used to live there. I have plenty of pics and my offsets are 25f and 30r. If your not busy come to the GTG tomorrow at kmart off of clairmont mesa near cheetah's. We usually meet around 645-700pm in the parking lot.

 

How bout shooting an e-mail to KUSI for the clip? I'll have to check out your rims in person. I don't make it to the GTG's too often. Maybe next time.

 

i will most likely be going to the feb. 4th race at qualcome in my sedan... i don't expect very good times but i have to work on that reaction time some more being that i haven't ran a tree in about a year. what times do you pull... im hoping to run mid 9's i did a 9.8 in my honda with a single cam. that was gutted but none the less it was a single cam with like 120 something horses.

No I haven't checked it yet Randy, but thanks for replying to my questions. To answer the above post I usually run consistent 9.3-9.5's. I should be lower than that, but you have to remember that the track is a parking lot and not a real drag strip. I plan on getting some drag radials for my stock 18's (rear) hopefully I'll be in the high 8's or at least 9.0 or 9.1. I'll post results hope to see you on the 4th.
