stupid me!!!!

well on sat night i got pulled over on ventura blvd near reseda...i was tryin to catch up to my friend in his m3 (not racing, just got caught at light and he didnt) when out of nowhere i see a damn cop with lights blaring in my rear view i was dead sober so that wasnt an issue ( i never drink and drive) the cop wrote me up going 60 in a 35 (i dont think i was going that fast, so i want to fight it)...as if that wasnt bad enough...his dick head partner decided he wanted to bend me over...he then proceded to write me up for modified suspension, modified lighting, no front plates, and being to low...i guess i should be thankful becuase i have no cats and he went strait to my exhaust and looked at it ( i shut the car down and cruised to a stop so the fumes would disapate before he had a chance to get out of his car) anyways...i got a ticket in aug. and did my traffic school..i have a perfect record (so far) will i be able to do traffic school again? i was written up 25 over the speed limit..isnt that wreckless driving? what do u guys think i should do:?

traffic school is only every 18 (or 12) months... so NO you will not be able to do traffic school...

do this, "trial by declaration," its where you call the court and say you want a "trial by declaration", then you dont have to show up to court. you write in your case, then the cop has to write in his case also, which they never do!

if youre found guilty, you can call in the court again and tell them you dont like the outcome, then this time you have to go in to court and start all over, like a second chance, but the "trial by declaration" will be kicked out, as if it never happened...

DONT BE LAZY, AND DO THIS!!! it takes only like a couple hours of your time... i did this and the cop didnt write in, so the case was dismissed...

I can't help you with your mod tickets, but I have beaten 5 consecutive speeding tickets.
I half agree with what kia aka g35riderc said.

"traffic school is only every 18 (or 12) months... so NO you will not be able to do traffic school..."

Not true, but if you totally give up and be a bitch to the system the courts love to give out traffic school. This is another revenue generator.

"do this, "trial by declaration," its where you call the court and say you want a "trial by declaration", then you dont have to show up to court. you write in your case, then the cop has to write in his case also, which they never do!"

Written dec. good and you have a 30% chance of beating your ticket, however, it seems that the officers superiors are cracking down on this, if they write back, you've pretty much lost. If your verdict comes in guilty, you request a trial de novo. I've been to court four out of five times and have come out undefeated, I'll show you what questions to ask the cop.

"trial by declaration" will be kicked out, as if it never happened..."
This is false too because for my 5th ticket, I totally tard'ed out and forgot my court date for my trial de novo. When I was panicking and called the court to see if i can possible reschedule, the clerk told me that it was dismissed because my written dec. stood in for my testimony.

DONT BE LAZY, AND DO THIS!!! it takes only like a couple hours of your time... i did this and the cop didnt write in, so the case was dismissed..."
Agreed, but when you write your side of the story, only write this... "I was not speeding, the officer's radar/laser/speedometer(whatever he popped you with) was probably malfunctioning." THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO WRITE!!!

Good luck.

For my first ticket, I was on my friends cbr and got clocked at 137mph on 57 south bound. Let me know what the code of the ticket is. cvc22349 or cvc22350.

You can still ask for traffic school. There's a thing called second chance traffic school that is a 12 hr. class rather then the normal 8 hrs. All you need to do is, if found guilty, just ask the judge for traffic school.

If your court is at the Chatsworth court house, chances are very slim on beating your case. But the commissioners and judges are very cool there.

By the way... Are you going to the Show and Shine sunday?

Damn, you got pulled over on Ventura? Was it near the Taco Bell? I've noticed some cops hiding on the street between the T-Bell and the gas station.

Anyways, I did a Trial by declaration once and as good as my story was, I still lost. They will highly favor the cop if he submits in his response. I just went to the court after I lost and requested traffic school and they gave it to me.
