Gold Star Lost my business today

I used to be a huge fan of Gold Star Audio as they did a great job for me two years ago. This time around they couldn't be bothered to take my business. I called them every day for a week and they never could even pull out a demo unit of the system I was interested in. With the dash kit and installation, we are talking about close to a $1,200 purchase.

After a week of trying to get their attention, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Looking on Yelp, I see lots of complaints about Gold Star lately and lots of good reviews for AudioLab in Lake Forest.

Off to AudioLab, they took the time to show me the different systems, demo the features, and really went above and beyond. I made the decision to go with them and they did the install within a few hours. After the installation, the main tech walked me through all the features, paired up my phone, and got everything dialed in.

The G35 is a complicated install and they had all of the pieces in stock. Very impressive.

Just wanted to throw this out there as I really felt they did a great job.

True, the JDM kit is nicer looking but also double the price and I was busting my budget already. It will do for now.

I am definitely going back to them for my window tinting soon. My G was in good company in the shop last night, they were installing a new system in a 2013 Ferrari at the same time.

Kerry, I have a great guy in OC for tint. I know you have a busy schedule so the fact that he is mobile and COMES TO YOU is a huge plus. He has done 3 of my personal cars and he did 9 of my co-workers cars. He did it all in our office parking lot while we worked. If you are interested, please let me know and I can put you in touch with him.
