If you go to the CHP in Woodland Hills make sure you have your front plate on too.
They're lookin for all violations now.
I got a no front plate ticket but they wouldn't sign off until I removed my front tint.
Ended up going to another office to have it signed off without removing tint.

just pay it off.. not that much... cheaper than removing and re-apply.

btw, I got a few times where I had to get a ticket signed off for no front plate.. but I can't remember if they checked the vin or not...

If you were to use someone else's G and the officer or deputy was on point to check that or not, you might get another charge for something more serious....

just pay, it doesn't affect your record.

Why not remove it yourself, razor blade/water spray bottle/towel is all that's needed. Might take you 15 minutes of your valuable time rather than involving someone else. Cost to reapply won't be what the ticket would cost if you don't remove it...Gary

I removes tint from front passenger windows using a hair dryer to heat the tint up and it peeled off no problem. No tint allowed unless from the factory. Lesson learned.

Or your eye doctor can waive your right to not have tint . Lots of guys around here with 50% whole windshield tint with the eye doctor exemption.
