Any reliable technicians/service advisers in SoCal area?
Hi,
I drive a used g35x and have taken my car to the dealerships couple times but each visit was unsatisfactory...I felt like the service advisers could have done more....
anyways..would really appreciate if you guys can refer any honest/reliable service adviser or technician in the socal area...
thanks guys!!!

^ Not sure if you're looking for honest dealerships or mechanics in general, but I'd never go back to a dealership - unless for a factory recall - and pay their ridiculous prices.
It's all about where you are, how far you're willing to travel, and/or if you'd possibly compromise on a general mechanic vs one that specialized in your make/model.
Independent shops that get mentioned on here often for Socal/LA Infiniti's/Nissan's are CarZone Auto (in Van Nuys), R&J (in Carson), R&D Factory (in Montebello?) and Corner 3 Garage (in Lake Forest IIRC).

It's really a cr@p shoot. So many times I've seen guys praise a particular service dept & you'll have the same amount of guys saying it's the worst.
I suppose it depends not just on the particular service rep but how the manger runs the dept.
Anyway I've gone to Glendale Infiniti for my numerous service repairs over the years when I was still under warranty and have had very good experiences most every time.
My main rep was Jerry Chinchilla and he treated me very well.
One of the newer guys that helped we out lately was Steve Chen (very courteous & professional).
FYI - Jerry took care of all issues below... (Never gave me any grief about my mods either)
Oil consumption - replace short block
Axle click - regreased
Clutch clicking - new clutch pedal
Clutch sticking - new slave cylinder
Bad temperature fuel gauge sensor - replaced
