Keep your guard up when you say that.

Sorry to get off topic, but keep this meet somehwere in Central Cali between Nor Cal and So Cal, there is no point if we have a meet in LA or SF and one of the sides has to drive up or down.

Just make it 1/2 way. I have done it with the euro guys and turned out perfect. Just takes alot of setting up and stuff.

Thanx Ed... I see you and Don have come up with a great idea (of your own?.. hmmm?) j/k.

I would be down for this. Pismo Beach, Wine tasting cruise. We could make it a weekend event and party saturday night in SLO. Plus there's a great little deli in the middle of nowhere where we could have lunch during our winery cruise. Just some ideas. But I'm not sure you'll get these whiney So Cal people to pull their precious little garage bitches out in fear of getting there wittle babies dwerty... awww.

Actually its like "hey NorCal people ! ! ! PARTY!!!" ZZZzzzZZZzzzzzZZZzzzz

SoCal... "party!!!" (and the cars are pulling up to your door before you hit quick post)

I'd love to do a N/S meet, but it would take a lot of planning. In the end we would get a lot less people than a local SoCal Event. Just look at the responses from folks in these initial planning stages... it's like 20 - 3, socal

but then again it was posted in the socal section

I think what we should do is to make a compromise between the Nor Cal people and the So Cal people, my idea would be to meet in Fresno CA, That way one person doesnt have to drive all the way to the other end of california for a meet. Trust me Fresno isnt as bad as its made out to be. We can show those G35 haters what our cars are made of!!!!!

That would be right smack into summer. According to CNN experts are predicting $105/barrel of oil during this time period. I hope they are wrong but if gas does hit that high then a lot of people will back out. Anyways, to far for me and there is nothing new to the G that I haven't seen before that would make me drive all the way out there. So I would have to say not interested.

Right now gas is at $57 a barrel, and thats approx $2.50-$2.90/gal (premium 91), depending on location ofcourse, which translates to approximately $50.00 to fill up a full tank as of now...if you are right about the $105/barrel, that means we will paying $90.00+ to fill up a full tank, oh good lord.

I hope they are wrong cause that would put the gas prices at $5/gal and that is just to damn rediculous. I'm selling my G right now I was hoping to get a 6MT but if this comes true then I have no choice. I would sell the G and not get a replacement buy myself a bicycle and ride it to work. Commute to work from Riverside to Irvine everyday on a bike. LOL!!! Man that would make me loose a lot of pounds. Is that a good thing?! LOL!
