Tinted Window Ticket

Well a few months ago I got a ticket for tinted windows. A friend of mine has a step dad who is a cop and was suppose to sign the ticket off, then the ***** turns around and my friend he wants to see the car before he signs the ticket off. I basically won't take my tint off so I was wondering if anyone has a hook up with a 5.0. around so-cal that will sign this **** off with the tint still on.

My other option is, I will cut a plastic sheet to the shape of my window, polish the exposed edge and stick those in the door frame so that it looks like I have none tinted windows.

Any help is appreciated, thanks

Diang, how dark are your windows? In cali they need to be practically limo dark in order to get the ticket... I would say that if you want to keep the tint suck it up and pay the fine.

breaking the law? I know tons of pigs who have tinted windows, everytime I go to the court house I drive past the pig pen parking lot and at least %75 of the cars have tinted windows. So he is definatley a *****.

I'll give the pigs 10 bucks for a ticket, but I don't want to have to pay to take the tint off and have it re-done.

I have medium tint in front, it is pretty light.

Looks like I'll have to cut out some dummy windows tomorrow, I will post pictures when I am done, then I will start making them and selling them on ebay.

I didn't know you could just pay it, I thought you had to fix it.

It is not really ghetto if you think about it, I will just make them half the length of the regular window so it will look like the window is rolled down half way. I'll use a high grade acrylic that when polished will look like glass from close up. Take a second to insert and a second to remove.

That's not true. CA law doesn't allow tint on the front windows, period. However, enforcement varies in different areas.

I had 20% tints on the front of my Maxima, and the cop did a u-turn to give me a tinting ticket. I wasn't able to do a fix it, is it a county or city thing? If I had a fix it ticket, I would have told my neighbor to sign it off for me. I HAD to pay the fine.

Why is this so ghetto? It's not like I am replacing my windows with plastic ones?
