car service?'s
car service?'s
I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum to ask this...I have a 2003 G35 with 41000 miles on it..I do the normal oil change and air filter thing but other than that I haven't had it serviced yet at the dealership and I don't even know what needs to be done to it, if anything...I don't know too much about the inner workings of cars so if I do call to make an appointment I feel I may be getting ripped off. My brother is a mechanic, but he lives far away and he said that I'd probably just need a transmission service and the cabin filter changed...I got around to calling Montclair Infiniti and the guy said that a transmission service would run me $240. Is this reasonable and is there anything else service wise that is essential for my car at this point?? Thanks for the input
If you're at 41k, you already skipped two scheduled services. There is a service due every 15k. But there are diffrent kinds, 15k, 30k and 60k are all diffrent. I can do your 30k for you, I've done like 4 members' 15k's already. Send me a PM.
All I know is I follow service intervals in the manual and get premium service each time... I keep all records and invoices. Why? Because I realized long ago the value it adds when you sell a car. Potential buyers love it when they know you maintained the car properly and have all records to show it.
