Flat Tire - equivilent replacement?

I was driving back from Street Image yesterday and about half way home (25 miles from the shop) I noticed that the steering wheel was cocked a few degrees to the right (allignment) and also on bumps my car would bounce left to right.

Before I could head to the right lane to exit and check out the problem; POP!!!!!!!

Tire blown and I had to ride on the rim for a bit to get on the shoulder. My rim is pretty torn up but I think it is still usable. It was my rear passenger tire that blew (245/40/19).

My question is: I priced the OEM tires at various places for ~$375 (give or take $25 for the Rotenza RE050A 245/40/19); Can anyone reccomend a cheaper option that will fit the stock 19" rims?

Thanks.

On the bright side, I got my Rogue Engineering short shifter installed and I love it.

You can still go with bridgestone tires. Look into the S0-3's or the RE750's. If you live near SD i work for firestone and i can get you a good deal on either one of these tires.

Is there a defect with rear passenger tires? Because my rear passenger tire keeps losing air pressure...

Not a defect... you probably just have a nail in your tire that you cant see. Ive had tires come in with little safety pin sized nails and they leak. or you could just have a little pin hole leak, either way they're both slow leaks so it wont just go flat on you. Take it in and get a flat repair.
