Car swayed side to side tonight on freeway...

Coming back from Commerce tonight on the 5 north my G started jerking from left to right all of a sudden. It then stopped for about 10 minutes so I figured it was probably a poorly paven road strip that I went over. Well 10 minutes later, it happened again. I pulled over to check the tires but they seemed ok. Didn't have my damn tire pressure guage with me so I couldn't check PSI. I'm thinking one of the back tires might be low in air and was the cause of this. What do you guys think?

On the upside, I did come up around $280 playing 3/6 Hold Em'. I also saw stern_rool'z (aka John) G there when I left. Hand of the night: I was dealt rockets, raised preflop in late position with many callers already. Flop is A Js 2s. Someone bet the flop, proceeded by a raise, a call, a re-raise, followed by me capping it. At that point, someone called my rockets already, but people kept playing their 2 pair and flush draws. My trip aces held up nice though

My car is lowered on tein basics. No vibrating from the wheel at all. My S03's seem like they've got plenty of life left on them. Ir's only been about 7k miles and I rarely drive over-aggressive.

I had a similar exp. VDC is VERY sensitive to tire pressure. In my case the moron that installed my tires left 80+ Lbs in one of the rears. I would check the pressure and go from there.

Zack, the 5 is f--ed up between about Atlantic and the area where it splits to the 10 and the 101. The road pulls you all over the place. Both north and southbound.

I didn't do nearly as well as you did. $280 is a good score at $3-6. Nice wild low limit games there at Commerce. I was playing the $9-18 until 4am and not really catching many hands except tons of AQ. Only 2 face pairs I had were JJ and 1010 and both of those got cracked. I had AQ about 10 times and only won once. I finished ahead, but barely....mostly because I kept folding. $34 and 7 beers and food is better than losing and better than a kick in the nuts.

Yeah, I figured the road was sh_t. There was also a bunch of traffic as soon as I got on the north bound 5 after leaving commerce due to them blocking the 4 right lanes.

Sorry to hear the cards weren't coming. Do you usually play higher fixed limits over at commerce? I played 10/20 one time online after I came up at a 5/10 ring game. It's too crazy for me. 2/4 and 3/6 are more for me. 3/6 is nice because people will let go of there hand when they know their beat yet paired with the board. In other words, "less fish." then 1/2 & 2/4. There's always a party at the table and everyone's having fun, but no matter what I play my A-game and most often come out on top or break even. I should try some of there other foods. I just get a hot dog w/ a soda like a college bum.

$3-6 online is vastly different from $3-6 in the casino. Online plays very tough at anything above $1-2. The $9-18 players at Commerce are almost as bad as the $3-6 players, and sometimes worse. Sometimes it is folded around, but on the weekends, usually not. Commerce plays this way at $20-40 as well and even at some $40-80 games(I have never played that high). Online $10-20 is a shark tank, and not worth playing unless you are very good. Commerce $40-80 is probably easier than online $10-20.

Crazy! Maybe I'll try 5/10 next time at Commerce then. Do you know what the highest stakes (Fixed Limit and No limit) they have their are?

Oh, on topic: Last night I checked tire pressure and the right rear tire was at 18 psi. I inflated to around 35 and the problem was solved.

I imagine they will spread any game as high as people want to play. I know the highest regularly running game that exists is the $4k-8K game that Johnny Chan, Barry Greenstein, Howard Lederer, etc play in. The highest I have ever seen in So Cal is the $1000-2000 stud game that Larry Flynt plays in at Hustler.

At Commerce, the highest game they normally spread is $100-200 LHE and they also run a $5K buy in No limit game. I have seen Ben Affleck playing that game.

There is no $5-10 limit holdem at Commerce nor is there a $10-20.

I've seen 6/12 so I guess that is the next highest stakes after 3/6. Is that 4k/8k LHE?

5k buy in is the max I've seen online and live. Have you ever played in any of the NL tourneys at Commerce? Do they have offer 10 man NL tourneys?
