Help. i crashed into a curb.

hey all,im looking for info on what to do about my car. i switched lanes to fast and idk what happened but my tail got lose and then carsh really hard into a curb. so right now my car is at the dealers (my g is leased) and i just got off the phone with them. they recommened callling my insurance and then go from there. are their any other options? as for the car 2 air bags went off (top side curtain and the seat of the passenger side only), the front had something that got snaped in half and the rear suspension bent in, and the sideskirt its scraped up really bad. oh ya tires good like their gone too. i took pixs but i forgot them at home. also is it best to go with the insurance or just work straight with a bodyshop?

this just sucks.

heres the pixs!!

from what it seems like, you need to take the car to a body shop.

From there call your insurance. My opinion, try to make the car salvaged. when a car gets into an accident in the rear, it wont be the same.

Put the pics up so we can see what else is going on.

But the car has to go to a body shop.

Take it to the body shop YOU want to have the work done at, and let the body shop fight it out with the insurance company

right now u used the 24hours assistance to get it towed to the dealer. the car lookgood for the body so a salvage might not work. but the suspension took most of the damage. and the air bags are going to be lot, which is all i know. dealer saids to have the insurance to go there to check the car out. and they will fix what they can at the dealership. before it gos to a bodyshop.

that doesnt make sense to me why you have it at the dealer?. take it to the body shop, just cuz from outside it looks good doesnt mean anything.

if your sayin you have suspension damage, you can have alot of problems with certain aspects of the suspension. e.g. the axel.

If the damage price comes out to about 70% of the cars value, its salvaged

take it to a body shop

hey from what it seems to be in the 1st set of pics, that the damage is going to be over 10 grand, yea the car for sure wont be salvaged.

but this is the job for a body shop, not a dealer like i said. but make sure the body shop your taking it to gets parts from infiniti and not aftermarket ones.

yea there is no way that all you have is going to be around 30 grand in damage.

you can do it just tell the body shop to charge alot on the parts.

not to burst our bubble dude but that car will most likely never drive right again. You got some major suspension damage. M1 is the right pleace to have it fixed but I dont doubt the frame got tweaked (Damn Unibody)

Good luck

The air bags are gonna be like 1k each the control arms are going to be up the @$$ too.

At least your ok
