richie, do you think it would be ok to dremel off a little bit so that it would be easier to adjust coilover? but we are sure that it will clear the adjuster right?

You can dremel a little but I'm not sure how that'll affect the structural integrity of the tower bracket. I am sure that it clear's the adjuster. THX723 has the Tein EDFC and it clears the electrical connector that connects to the strut.

Looks like you have about an inch from the adjuster to the bracket

But no matter how much you dremel off, it looks like you have to at least take the bar off because the bar sit right on top of the adjuster.

So, who was it? Someone from this board? Give us a name so we can shun them!

The bar isn't designed to absorb stress in that direction. If you can pull the ends of it and stretch it or squish it to make it shorter, then there's a problem. You would be really strong too.

M.O.T.O.

thanks, I was just pointing out that there was very little deflection, even when a force is applied across its weakest point.

Just curious, what color are you painting it? Painting just the bar or the tower brackets too?

^1+ When I first got my hands on it, I tried to squish it from the ends and the bar is SOLID ! If you could squish it from the sides, you should enter World's Strongest Man =)

Richie, got some off topic questions for you since you are at it.
Are you planning to make other parts for our G35s in the future?
If so, what is it?

I would love to make more parts for our cars. Its just a matter of finding or making a part that will meet the demands of the consumers. In addition, making the product so that it is affordable to everyone. I am definitely keeping both my eyes and ears open to potential products. I do have some carbon fiber products lined up. I just need to finalize a couple of items.

How about rear carbon fiber rear diffuser? Not those Nismo but Top Secret ones.

If you could make a rear bar for the *sedans*, that doesn't sacrifice much trunk space, then you'd have a huge hit. But I don't know if it's even possible.

Or if you could create a ladder brace like the GTSpec bars that fits the sedans...
