Here's a teaser picture of how i painted my Richie Bar. I'll get more once it's finished drying and on the car.

Looks awesome man. How did you prep/paint it? I'm sure others would like a DIY guide to painting the bar.

atually i do have an aftermarket alarm.. didnt think about that at first.

Yea, I was thinking of personally dropping it off but didn't know if you'd be home or not. So I just shipped it =) so it'll be there for sure Monday.

After installing your bar I definatly noticied a difference and made my 3 hour ride from rhode island to NYC a little better

i sanded off all the silver finish that came on it then wiped it all down. Used a bare metal primer spray paint. The 4-5 coats of the black, taped it all off to do the red (3 coats) then there's atleast 9 coats of clear on it.

i picked mine up at the post office today, thanks man! Ill post pics after i get it done installed.

For those of you whom are istalling Richie's bar . . . Please remember to remove the bar prior to having any work performed on your cars, which will require the removal of the said bar.

When I had my Tein coilovers installed, I removed the bar and left the 2 brackets in place. I didn't want the installer putting a crease in my hood upon closing it, if he had not reinstalled the bar at its lowest setting.
