Yea, it's normal. Mine rubs against the hood liner too...that's why with version 2, we figured that since there was more room to go downwards, why not elongate the holes for more adjust-ability. As long as the bar is not pushing UP on the hood then you're okay.

Yes the Richie Front Strut Bar does work with the Crawford V5 plenum.

Here is Jeff92se's post in the review section about the bar (he has the V5 plenum also).

I haven't seen the D-spec adjustment *****, but do they come up high or sit low like the stock struts?

Yea, I did the test fit and it seems like the driver side is the problem. I wonder if the strut mounts of all versions of the 07 sedan are the same...does anyone know? Like if the sport is the same as the AWD or the same as the non-sport...

Anywho, I tested on a non-sport sedan and the driver side mount has to be modified a little bit (need to cut/shave off a little). I'm going to make a template and see how much really needs to be taken off for it to work.

I'll make a little template and try it on Monday at work.

You will not be able to fit the adjustment key for the Tokico DSP-7 under the strut bracket to adjust. But you can just take an hex key and adjust it that way. Works just as good.
