it works with a spacer.... but you can't use the stock COVER with the spacer + fstb. If you want to use a cover, you'll have to use a 350z engine cover.

Richie FSB

Just wanted to say this was a 15 minute install with 3 minutes going to a beer to sit back and admire. Only obstacle came from the hose bracket on the driver side. I just added a 1/2" spacer.

Richie I have a question. With the version 1, how far up can I put the bar without damaging the hood. Would you happen to know? At its lowest setting it already touches the lining.

if its already touching at its lowest setting, I'd recommend not attempting to raise it any higher. Was there a particular reason you wanted to raise it higher?

v2 Strut Bar

I bought one last Thursday via Paypal and received it on Friday!!! I also installed on Friday almost immediately. I have noticed a huge difference when taking a tight corner or getting on it around the turns. Before I would get a little wheel hop and feel super soft in the turns. This bar has almost completely got rid of the wheel hop I had before on the same exact turns and stiffened everything up!

Great buy!

Thank you!
