Injen Cold Air Intake For 07+ Sedan

I am not sure where to post this because its a mix between a TECH and New owner.

Anyway,

Hey guys,

I recently purchased a 2007 G35 Infinti Sedan with the 6 speed manual and what a great purchase.

My buddy has a 04 G35 sedan auto and I would slaughter him everytime.

Anyway after a few days, I dropped in the new INJEN DUAL cold air intake and this thing made a pretty big difference. Injen did a dyno and it gained 13 WHP.

I purchased this intake because a 2007 Altima 3.5 with a 6 speed was giving me issues from a roll (Another friend). That was kind of a embarrassing! He did have a Fujita intake though which apparently gives those things 14 WHP.

I purchased my intake from JKG RACING and I am completely satisfied with this intake. It was a little pricy, but it is one of a kind thats for sure.

Heres the link if anyones interested to the web page I bought it from:

http://www.jkgracing.com/intake17.html

Anyway, my next modification will be a cat-back exhaust

As far as I know (after calling around to MANY different vendors), most are getting them this Monday, so I have no idea how he already has one installed (the exception being blue slate, since he was involved with the R & D). Judging by it being his 1st post and the prominent name placement of "jkg racing," I have a feeling this post is just a commercial for JKG racing. That being said, they do have it for a very good price, so no complaints here.

I am not here for name placement. I think JKG RACING did a good job and wanted to let people know my experiences. The company is from Michigan, I am from California lol.

I am a girl by the way. K=Krystal.

Yeah the INJEN gave me some good gains on the butt-o-meter thats for sure. Injen dynoed it and got good gains.

I checked out amplifiedmotorsport, they are a little pricy compared to JKG RACING.

Hi Krystal.... I'm glad that you like the intakes.

If you do not have any other breathing mods besides the new intakes, you should have gained about 14hp at the peak.

I am going to Injen next week to finally getting my long awaited washer reservoir... I saw the size today and I was like... "eh.. that's tiny." hahaha

^ LOL,

so seriously 14 whp with a 270 dollar dual intake? thats pretty significant. I want somebody (not the manufacturer) to replicate... then I'm on board.

Where do you get Injen intakes for 270?

Try $500+ for the moment.

Do you have a 2nd gen sedan? If you are interested, I think Lou at Amplified Motorsport still has a couple more for the group buy. Check it out here:

and their website here:

yeah i have a 2nd gen... it actually looks almost just like yours, minus the splash guards. But yeah looks like dude isn't accepting PMs so I'll either email him when i get home (from work) or AIM him sometime monday. Product looks badass though, and I don't think I've ever seen so much participation in a group buy

thanks for the link
