window motor failure
so how many of you have gotten this fixed?
So far I've repaired my passenger side motor TWICE and my driver side window once. So i've replaced the window motors 3 times during my 2 year time with this car. Isn't that a bit ridiculous? For all I know, my driver side is going to fail next in the next couple of months. My 99 TL with over 100k miles on it has perfect working windows!! And it takes my dealer close to 2 hours to repair it each time. I hate this!

Had my passenger window motor replaced about 6 months ago. Now the driver's side is beginning to act up. My 03 goes out of warranty in December, so I have a maintenance appointment scheduled for mid-November to get the last of the warranty/TSB work done. I'm waiting until then to change out the driver's motor. Hopefully I won't have to pay to have it fixed for another year or two at least.

I have the same problem with my windows; however, the problem is intermitent and only happens once in a while. when I brought it into the dealer they said they wouldnt replace the motor since they couldnt duplicate the problem. what do i need to do to get them to replace the motor anyway. Im afraid these may go bad in the future and my warranty is about to expire.

I had my passenger once replaced. It took me 3 visits before I could get it replaced. First they said it was the guides or drive or needed grease. I can't remember. I finally had the motor replaced after I couldn't wind up the window in the middle of a winter rainy season. I now have grease lines again, but given up on having that fixed. I'm just happy that my windows go up and down at the same time.

I told the dealer and they tested them, but said until they go bad tehy cannot fix it....not sure what to do now...
