why do you have to take them off? is it because your afraid they might scratch it or take it through the car wash?

I just got the recall card in the mail today. I'd sure like to know what they are really doing. I'm suspicious of anything recalled as a result of Gov't regulations. The Feds don't seem to like HIDs and this may be a way to make them less usable or to have less intensity. I'm going to wait a while and read the reports from people who have already had theirs done.

...mentioned earlier, that the Headlamps looked a little "off" when I had my Recall work done well...
I just loosened the one upper bolt, in the engine compartment, and moved around the Headlamps. They are both in really good position now !
Piece-of-cake fix !!

The brightness seems to be the same, but the light is directed more in front of the car now.

A fellow g member took his g in for service and when he went to pick up his g, the lot tech curbed his $800 Work VS-XX wheel right in front of him as he pulled up.

+1 ....cars need to come with auto dimming windshields now-a-days
I get blinded every night from oncoming blue, purple, pink aftermarket HIDs

suprisingly cops in my area dont give tickets for these wild color HIDs

I know this thread is dead, but is there a time limit on having this tsb performed? And is it for 06 coupes only?
