service engine soon/slip light......help

hey all, i installed a 5/16th plenum spacer on my car 11/15 and today 11/26 i was pulling out of my neighborhood and my car completely stopped as in wouldnt move even when releasing the clutch.......then my slip light and service engine soon light came on and stayed on. i shut the car off and started it back up and the slip light went away but the service engine soon light stayed on,i read in my manual that it is an emissions problem. what should i do, does anyone know if the spacer voids the warranty b/c in the manual it specifically says "do not cover after market parts" has anyone ran into this problem? should i re-tork all of my bolts on the plenum? please help me!!!!

Did you make sure to check all connections?? I would actually pull it off and reinstall making sure there are no air leaks. Is your MAF plugged in properly? Warranty won't cover that type of problem.

Check you brake fluid level too. Might not be realated to the spacer, but most likly something got loosened like 02themax said after or when you did teh install.

If its under warranty bring it into the dealership. They will usually try to BS you but BS them right back. Good luck!
